Children’s Sunday School

Holy Cross has a vibrant Children’s Sunday School program, through the “Weaving the Faith” curriculum.

Preschool kids (ages 3-5) get their first taste of Sunday School with an hour of Bible stories, Play Dough, crafts, games, songs and snacks, commencing at 9:30 a.m.

The older kids (up through 6th grade) are invited to meet in the Sanctuary at 9:20 Sunday morning, for songs and an opening Bible story.  Afterwards, those in Kindergarten through 4th grade split into groups and rotate through Action Time (a game or activity), Art (a craft), and Wonder Time (review the Bible story and apply it to their life).

Meanwhile, the 5th and 6th graders move into their own space, where they participate in a role-playing game, “The Redemption.”  In the game, they are faced with a series of tasks and difficult choices as they create a new society.
